Country Music Marathon & Half Marathon Training Program
Date: April 15, 2009 The 10th annual Country Music Marathon & 1/2 Marathon will start in Centennial Park and run through Nashville's most scenic sights. 50 bands on 28 entertainment stages and hundreds of high school cheerleaders will entertain runners, walkers and spectators alike. Country, rock, jazz, blues, swing and more will pulsate every mile on the course. Music will continue into the night as the Sommet Center in downtown Nashville will host an incredible post-race concert. Past performers include Sara Evans, Martina McBride, Jo Dee Messina, Diamond Rio, Brad Paisley and Phil Vassar.  |
